Emily started her company, Emily Green - a brand of imagination (www.emilygreen.com), in 2003, creating functional everyday imaginative table tops for kids with her original artwork. Her designs quickly took off, and Emily's products sold in over 4,000 retail outlets, from Barney’s to Wal-Mart, FAO Schwartz, and The MOMA Store, among many others. She then partnered with multiple licensing companies, creating designs and concepts for a variety of imaginative and educational products for kids around the globe.

Prior to launching her brand, Emily worked as a freelance illustrator for multiple national outlets,  including LA Times and Chicago Tribune, and co-created and sold two animated series to Hallmark Entertainment and Klasky Csupo, creator of the Rugrats.

Emily was born in Detroit, Michigan and lives in  Los Angeles. Her daughter Daisy’s fresh artistic and quirky vision is the original inspiration for Emily Green - a brand of imagination.

Emily holds a BFA from Rhode Island School of  Design.
